The holidays are a perfect time for families to sit down and share a meal. For me, this is one of the core pillars of Wholesome Child as family meals can forge a healthy relationship towards food in childhood and beyond.
I’m so excited to bring you my favourite Christmas classics with a Wholesome Child twist. You asked, and we listened!! Rocky Road, Fruit Cake and Chocolate Trifle. These recipes will keep you going back for more.
And, the best news…there’s no refined sugar or nasties – so you can indulge guilt-free and know your kids can do the same. Holidays are definitely a time for ‘sometimes’ foods and I always advocate indulging in moderation. However, I created and refined these recipes to ensure that not every December mouthful is a sometimes food, and to show that festive favourites can still be delicious while packing a nutritional punch!
